• Planned and created a year-long communications campaign for our client, Guiding Right, Inc., with the help of a six-person team

• Worked with a group to conduct public relations research techniques such as in-depth interviews, focus groups and surveys for our client, the Women’s Resource Center
• Learned advanced uses of the Adobe Creative Suite
• Discussed graphic design theories and how to apply them
• Gained experience in brand design and editorial layout design
• Served as an intern for Blush Norman, a local boutique
• Created a media kit and conducted a social media campaign to help grow their brand
• Learned the basics of designing for public relations publications, including an introduction to the Adobe Creative Suite
• Covered the basics of the public relations industry and prominent industry theories
• Learned the basics of HTML and CSS coding through a variety of customizable, personal projects
• Learned how to write for all forms of mass media, including journalism stories, press releases and scripts
• Served as an introduction to all Gaylord College majors, including: public relations, advertising, journalism, professional writing and creative media productions
